Buddy Guy Chicago Concert reviews
See him before it's too late.
I was lucky enough to grow up in Tampa in y 80s. Blues music was on the decline but that meant that Guys like Buddy Guy and Clarence Carter would take little bar gigs just pay the bills. I got to see Buddy several times at Skippers Smokehouse before I was even a teenager. My mom taught me about good music early and has accompanied me to see Buddy Guy for almost 40 Years. Buddy Guy is on his last tour before calling it a carear. He's the last of the legends. I took my mom to Charlotte just to see Buddy one last time. He not only did all his best stuff but some songs I've never heard live. He's using Kingfish and Eric Gales as opening acts on much of his farewell tour and both of them are worth the tickets price alone. It's the end of an era but the beginning of a new dawn. Buddy's back up guitarist Rick Hall is a beast in his own right. Buddy's whole band is great it is going to be interesting to see what they do now. Don't hesitate to see any if these guys if they come to your area and do whatever you can to see Buddy before he retires.
